Christmas Swiss Roll Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 x 245g Strawberry Swiss Roll
  • 1 x 135g pack Raspberry Jelly
  • 1 x 500g Carton Custard
  • 200g Fresh Raspberries
  • 1 x 300ml Double Cream
  • 80g Choceur White Chocolate
  • Silver Baubles to Decorate

Method

  1. Break up the jelly into squares and put into a bowl.
  2. Pour over 300ml boiling water and stir to dissolve.
  3. Add 225ml cold water and stir through – allow to cool.
  4. Slice the Swiss roll into 8 slices.
  5. Line the sides of the dish with the slices of Swiss role.
  6. Pour in the semi set jelly and the fresh raspberries – allow to set.
  7. Top with the custard.
  8. Whip the cream and pipe on the top.
  9. Using a peeler -peel curls off the chocolate block.
  10. Decorate with the white chocolate curls and the silver baubles or add a little something extra by using the white chocolate as decorative shards poking out of the trifle.
  11. Put in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
