Air Fryer Rump Steak Bites

Ingredients

  • 500g Rump steaks
  • 20ml Olive oil
  • 1 x Heaped tsp garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1 x tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp Sea salt

For the dip / sauce:

  • 60g Salted butter at room temperature
  • 60g Mayonnaise
  • 1 x Heaped tsp dried parsley
  • 1 x Heaped tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 x Heaped tsp horseradish sauce

Method

  1. Trim any fat off the steaks and cut into large bite size chunks.
  2. Put in a bowl along with the olive oil, garlic and herb seasoning, paprika, salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. If time permits, marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the fryer to 200°C.
  5. Put the chunks of meat in the basket in a single layer. Cook for 6/8 minutes – depending on how you like your steak cooked.
  6. Meanwhile beat the butter, mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish and parsley together.
  7. Put the cooked meat on a plate – either drizzle over the dip or serve on the side – serve with red onion rings and rocket leaves, fries or wedges.
