Mangorita Tequila Punch

Ingredients

  • 240g pack Fresh Mango Chunks
  • Juice of 5 Limes
  • 250ml Orange Juice – plus 50ml extra for dipping the glasses
  • 350ml Tequila
  • 300ml Sparkling Lemon & Lime Juice
  • Ice Cubes
  • 3 tsp Caster Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes

Method

  1. Put the lime juice and mango chunks into a small blender or liquidiser and pulse until blended.
  2. Put this into a large pitcher with plenty of ice.
  3. Add the orange juice, tequila and sparkling water and mix well.
  4. Mix the sugar, chilli and sugar together.
  5. Put on a flat plate.
  6. Put the extra orange juice on a plate.
  7. Dip the edges of the glasses in the orange juice, then into the sugar mix.
  8. Strain the punch into the glasses and sip through the sweetened salty chilli.
  9. Decorate with slices of lime.
