A delicious hearty stew for the cold winter months.
400g Diced Steak Pieces
1kg Baby potatoes
500g Carrots
1 x Beef Casserole pack
2 Teaspoons of vegetable oil
1 Large onion finely diced
Fresh thyme
Salt and black pepper
SHOP THE INGREDIENTS
Preheat the oven to 180°C standard or 170°C fan.
Peel and chop the carrots.
Half the baby potatoes and pan fry on a medium heat with a little oil until they get a nice golden colour. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In the same pan fry the onions and the beef until browned.
Place the beef, onions, carrots & potatoes in a casserole dish.
Blend the contents of the sachet in the casserole pack with 425ml of water and add to the casserole dish.
Cover and cook for 1 and 3/4 hours until the beef is tender.
Sprinkle over some thyme and salt and pepper.
Enjoy with seasonal veg or crusty bread.
