ALDI PLAY RUGBY

Aldi Play Rugby is a free initiative developed by the IRFU and supported by Aldi for national primary schools. The programme is a fun and safe non-contact way for kids to get involved in playing rugby in primary schools; In an enjoyable coaching environment and includes the tag, touch and rugby prime.

All participating schools receive an IRFU Community Rugby Officer who visits during school hours, providing free equipment and development support to get started. You will also have a chance to take part in Aldi Play Rugby Provincial Festivals - a day of fun competition in the tag, touch and X7s formats. Schools will then be invited to take part in the Aldi Play Rugby National Festival at the Aviva Stadium in Spring 2018.
