  • Aldi is committed to animal welfare and is against animal testing. We introduced our ban on animal testing of products and ingredients in 1992, ahead of legislation and before many of our competitors. This ban applies to all Aldi brand cosmetics, household cleaners and healthcare products.
  • We believe that our customers should have the right to shop with their conscience and we strive to ensure that we can offer this choice through our product sourcing and labelling. Aldi policy is to ensure that all of our fresh and frozen meat products are stunned prior to slaughter.
  • Aldi partners with the best suppliers in the country-often the same ones that produce national brands. In addition, we regularly sample our products to ensure that they meet or exceed the quality and taste of the national name brands.
  • The majority of our products are sold under exclusive Aldi select brands. These items are produced to meet our stringent quality standards; and are sold only in Aldi. Our purchasing power and relationships with suppliers allow us to negotiate low prices-which means big savings for you. On occasion, you will find a national brand at Aldi. These are usually Specialbuys-limited-time offers of products that provide you with huge savings, but are normally only available while supplies last.
  • Aldi is not a wholesaler and all products we sell are intended for our customers' personal use.
  • Unfortunately, you cannot return a frozen item if you simply change your mind as we can not guarantee how the item has been stored and therefore cannot resell the item.
  • We follow the new government advice for manufacturers and retailers which states that the Best Before dates should be removed from fruit and vegetable packaging to help reduce waste in the environment.
