We source our products locally in Ireland to ensure fresh, delicious products are delivered direct to store, every day. From soft, freshly baked bread to the finest cuts of Angus Beef, Aldi only accepts the very best so it’s hardly surprising that we’ve picked up a few awards. Aldi Stores Ireland was one of the big winners at this year’s prestigious international Great Taste Awards, with 10 of its Irish products taking home titles. Beating off competition from both UK and Irish retailers and producers, Aldi’s Irish products picked up awards across a number of different food categories, including a 3 gold stars award for its Kilcrea Gold Active 10+ Manuka Honey, produced by Healy’s Honey of Co. Cork. In 2009, five of our products were awarded Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards. The National Irish Food Awards recognise and reward excellence for some of the best-tasting foods made in Ireland.

All of our fresh beef is supplied by AIBP – the country’s largest beef processor and comes from animals born, reared and slaughtered in the Republic of Ireland. Our Nature’s Isle Meat range is all Bord Bia Quality Assured. Our fresh chicken, pork and lamb is also supplied by Irish suppliers which means you can rest assured that it's not only the finest available, but it is also, without exception, always sourced from Irish farms. Our fresh turkey is all sourced here in Ireland and we are leading the way with Bord Bia quality-assured turkey.

We have daily deliveries of freshly baked breads to your local store, made by local bakers using your favourite Irish ingredients. We also have a selection of freshly baked cakes, full of home cooked character.

Our fruit and vegetables are sourced, wherever practically possible, from growers in Ireland where they are all hand-picked for quality and freshness. By sourcing our fruit and vegetable locally, we can maintain freshness by ensuring they travel from field to fork in the shortest time possible. All of our creamy cheddar cheese is 100% Irish and is ripened to perfection to deliver the perfect flavour profile. In addition we have a selection of delicious cheeses made here in Ireland by dedicated artisan producers. From rich creamy Tipperary Blue to smooth full flavoured Oakwood Smoked Cheddar they are of exceptional local quality.
